My name is Rebecca, I am an artist born and raised under the scorching Florida sun. I spend most of my days running through the woods and marveling at the beautiful complexity embedded all around me.
Art is a loaded word, embedded in wealth, exclusion, and misconceptions. I graduated with a BFA in Painting and a minor in Art History from the University of Florida in 2020. The more I become embedded in this space, the stronger I feel drawn to share that art is for all. There is no good art, no bad art. Art is expression. Openness. Freedom. It is not exclusionary.
This website started as a space that held many of my creative visual explorations. As my years continue forward and my practice continues to evolve, so will this site. My practice aims to be embedded in Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion. It works to honor the land and the many people that have grown in community with it. My practice works to encourage all to create and share their expressions of this wonderful earth with joy and curiosity. Thank you for taking time out of your unimaginably short life to explore my practice.
